Canteen
The Bayswater Primary School Canteen is operated by the P&C and employs a Canteen Manager. The canteen operates on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Our mission is to increase the amount of healthy nutritional packed food that is prepared onsite and at a low cost. The menu is consistent with The Australian Guide to Healthy Eating (“traffic light system”).
Pre-ordering is a requirement and orders can be completed online or a paper copy can be filled in at the canteen. Food items can be ordered up until 9:00am on the days the canteen operates.
Online Ordering
Online orders must be placed by 9am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Orders placed after 9am will not be received for that canteen day.
Online orders are placed via the QuickCliq website. Simply sign up for a QuickCliq account and away you go. More information about QuickCliq for parents can be found here.
Cash Ordering
You can place orders with cash at the canteen on the day, please use the brown paper ordering bags.
Orders after 9.00am may not be collected, so if you are running late please take orders straight to the canteen to avoid your child missing out on lunch.
Volunteers
The canteen operates smoothly with the assistance of volunteers and it is necessary to have at least one volunteer every Friday from 10am to 1pm. In order to share the responsibility, a roster has been devised where volunteers are chosen from a different class each week. The roster is published in the school newsletter.
