Book Week

Book Week runs over the week beginning 22 August 2022, students across the whole school will participate in a range of activities during the week and the we will finish with our annual Book Character Parade on Friday 26 August 2022, starting at 9.00am.

Author Visit – Year 2-6 - Book Week Excursion

Students in year's 2-6 will participate in a book week activity at the Bayswater Library, that include an author visit who will be sharing stories. Students will then participate in guided illustration activities and storybook activities led by the author.

This is a free excursion. Parental consent is required for students to attend. Consent can be done online via the Qkr! app.

Dates

Wednesday 24th August 

• Year 6 -   9:15 to 10:15 am
• Year 4 & 5 - 11:00am to 12:00pm          

Monday 29th August 

• Years 2 & 3 -  1:00pm to  2:00pm 

Students will depart Bayswater Primary School 15 minutes prior to the session time and walk down Hill Street to the walk to the Bayswater Public Library/Civic Centre. Please ensure your child has a hat, is dressed in full school uniform and appropriate walking footwear. A wet weather jacket is recommended, if rain is likely. If you have not previously completed a STUDENT HEALTH CARE FORM, or need to update any medical information please inform Front Office. 

Consent forms can be actioned through the Qkr! App under ‘Excursions’. Parents can download the app and use for future events, consent forms, and payments.If you have already registered for QKR, excursion forms and payment details are available on the App now under ‘excursions’. Paper consent forms are also available in the Admin office  Consent forms must be received no later than 22 August 2022.
